Question

We are planning for my nieces wedding to be elegant and we are doing a candy buffet.
The candy will all be in the colors of the wedding....gold, raspberry pink and cream, and there will be about 18 different jars of candy.
The question I have is:
Should the jars be labeled as to the type of candy in them or not?

I don't want to take away from the pretty look of things by adding paper labels, etc.
The reason I even think of adding labels is that some of the candy is different and people might want to know what it is.
Ex....the cream colored balls are sour balls , oh and these sweet candies I found.......champagne bubbles!
How fun would a label with that on it! :)
Anyway....still trying to make a decision.
Help?

Money garland!

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of visiting my son and his wife in Lincoln, NE.
As we were going for a walk downtown I happened to see this in a window and HAD to stop and snap a few pictures. :)
I not only take family pics......decor is important too! :)

Anyway, I love this "cheap" idea. It looked to me like these were just stapled together.
Easy and fun.

And I apologize for the lack of blogging.
This Wedding planning is really taking everything I have for time!
I will have to start showing some of our projects, ect.
It's really mostly planning and organizing...but it all takes time.
I'll get back into the swing of things soon.

Lighting

Since the sun doesn't seem to be shining around here, I thought I'd share some lighting ideas. :)

This one I love and am "thinking" of doing for the wedding.....or something similar at least.

Global....

Great theme for the traveler in your family.
Found at Ritzy bee blog. Photo from Project Wedding.

I'm thinking this color theme is quite fun. Would work for other themes as well.

Have a cupcake

So I've been lost again. :)
Sorry.
I am going to share some ideas that have been swimming around my head for the big wedding. We have rented an acrylic cupcake stand from a cake store and I am trying to find some fun ideas to spruce it up a bit.
Here's a few.
And this one is my favorite!!
Really love the look of this. Romantic, simple, elegant.
I think it might be the one we copy. :)
